Minecraft:Third Drop 2026

The third drop of 2026 is an upcoming, currently unnamed, Minecraft:game drop that will release in the third quarter of 2026. It focuses on the Minecraft:dappled forest biome, adding poplar trees with three different colors of Minecraft:leaves and its related blocks, Minecraft:wool stairs and slabs, and a new Minecraft:abandoned camp structure. It was announced at Minecraft:Minecraft Live – TwitchCon May 2026.

World generation

Biomes

• An autumn-themed forest biome that consists of Minecraft:poplar trees, Minecraft:red shrubs, Minecraft:leaf litter, and Minecraft:brown mushrooms.
  • Fallen poplar logs generate more frequently than other logs.
• Cold variants of farm Minecraft:animals, Minecraft:rabbits, and Minecraft:foxes spawn here.
• May sparsely generate Minecraft:spruce trees.

• A tree that generates in dappled forests.
• Features three different colors of leaves, orange, red, and yellow.
• Fallen poplar trees have shelf mushrooms on them.

• It consists of Minecraft:white wool stairs, Minecraft:fences and various other blocks.
• Its appearance can be varied, such as having a single Minecraft:tree, a crop farm or in a more ruined state.

Unconfirmed features

Minecraft:Straw bed

• A bed variant that lets players sleep but doesn't set their respawn point.
• Currently it can be crafted using 3 Minecraft:hay bales.
• Can be stacked to 16.
• Can only be used once and breaks after being slept.
