Minecraft:Purple Heart Cape

The Purple Heart Cape is a Minecraft:cape that was given out as part of the 15 Days of Minecraft celebrations alongside the Minecraft:Follower's Cape and the Minecraft:15th Anniversary Cape.

Appearance

The cape includes a purple heart with streaks on a white background. The bottom corners are filled with purple right-angled triangles, paired with a purple hood at the top. It uses similar colors of the Minecraft:Twitch logo.

Distribution

Players could receive this cape by redeeming a code, which was obtainable by watching any Minecraft livestream on Minecraft:Twitch for 15 minutes. Codes could be obtained between May 15 and May 31, 2024.<ref name="cape announcement">Template:Mcnet</ref>

This task could not be completed normally in regions where either Twitch or its rewards program were banned. Players in these regions could obtain the cape by circumventing the ban somehow (such as with a VPN), traveling to regions where they were not banned, or receiving a code from another player.

• Despite being announced earlier, this cape and the Minecraft:Follower's Cape were the focus of the fourth day of the 15 Days of Minecraft celebrations.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>
• The original article<ref name="cape announcement"/> and the redemption page<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20240601214119/https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/redeem</ref> stated that codes for this cape and the Follower's Cape would be disabled on July 30, 2024. However, as of June 2026, codes for these capes are known to still work.
