Alpha v1.0.5<ref>Template:Ytl</ref><ref>Template:Ytl</ref><ref>Template:Ytl</ref> is a version of Minecraft:Java Edition Alpha released on July 13, 2010,<ref>Template:TWON</ref> which adds Minecraft:snowballs, Minecraft:snow blocks, and fixes bugs.

Alpha v1.0.5 was reuploaded at 21:49 UTC (16 minutes after release) to fix a bug with Minecraft:snow.

• Fixed building on snow bug.
• Fixed Minecraft:ice rendering bug.
• Third person view no longer causes water particles to surround the player at water level.

Bugs

2 bugs reported

• Entity shadows are glitched.
• Placing a chest in a water source next to a double chest will make a triple chest. Placing more water sources around the chest and then replacing them with a chest will make an ever bigger chest, going as high as a quintuple chest for a single chest. This bug wouldn't be fixed until Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.5.
