GuideStar Taxi is a livery services company incorporated in StarCitizen:Fujin City, StarCitizen:Saisei, in the Centauri system. The company operates a ride-share program that matches passengers in need of transportation with available pilots, and maintains thousands of verified contractors across the systems of the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth (UEE).

History

GuideStar began as a service that rented out private ships stored in StarCitizen:ASOP terminals, allowing owners to offset their storage costs. That program did not prove as popular as the company's secondary service, a ride-share program that paired people in need of transportation with available pilots. The ride-share service proved more popular and grew into GuideStar's main offering, and the company expanded to operate thousands of verified contractors across all systems in the UEE, transporting millions of passengers.
