It was revealed in the [[Update:Kuldra's Saga - The Roadmap Update|Roadmap Update]] on 15 May 2026 that players can acquire a special cape for completing the caves successfully. From the [https://dragonwilds.runescape.com/news/umbral-sands-release-date newspost] revealing the release date for Umbral Sands, it is revealed to "contain stronger Kot'Haar, new mechanics and overcome environmental hazards to earn the right to climb the tower, [...], advanced modes, rare crafting rewards and powerful Vestiges for you to bag."
