Minecraft:Abandoned Camp

An abandoned camp is a small Minecraft:structure consisting of a wool tent with chests and barrels that generates in various Minecraft:Overworld surface biomes. Its appearance can be varied, such as being covered in Minecraft:leaves or featuring a Minecraft:crop farm nearby.

Description

Abandoned camps generate in eighteen surface biomes in the Minecraft:Overworld featuring tents made of white wool stairs with an array of chests, barrels and other utility blocks inside. Rarely, an Minecraft:oxidized copper chest can spawn with more valuable loot than the standard containers.

The floor of the tent and surrounding ground is comprised of dirt, gravel and path blocks, and nearby the tent is an unlit campfire along with a chest or a barrel. Cobwebs and leaves sometimes replace the wool stairs that make up the tent, giving it a ruined appearance. Other features can sometimes generate around the tent, such as a tree or small crop farm. The fences supporting the tent are different depending on the biome. For example, a tent that generated in a Minecraft:pale garden would have Minecraft:pale oak fences.

Structure

An abandoned camp consists of a tent and a campsite generated in front of it. The tent variant is determined by the biome in which the camp generates. The campsite variant is selected from a pool of 45 default variants and 3 additional biome-specific variants corresponding to the biome in which the camp generates, with each variant having an equal probability of being chosen.

As a result, a total of 8,640 unique abandoned camp configurations are possible.
