Ascension Cores are items used and crafted in the Dragonwilds:Mystic Forge to ascend masterwork weapons from their base power level to the next tier. They are made by combining Ascension Core Shards.

As of 0.12, these cores are not yet available. Players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Red Dragons, Green Dragons and Blue Dragons).
