If you accused the magi of summoning demons outside of sanctioned areas, they would smirk and give a carousel of different answers: you are lying; you are mistaken; you are cowardly; you are to be eaten by demons.<br><br>Something terrible was bound to happen; it was a question of when. An infernal demon materialised during a Shadow Knight training session. The recruits were memorising guard rotations, so only their teacher was armed.
