The Ironclad and Ironclad Assault were unveiled by Drake Interplanetary during StarCitizen:Drake DefenseCon 2954, an event run by Drake as a tagalong to the StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week. The obvious aim was to eclipse the official convention.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
