width=67x67The Magic Carpet is the second mount unlocked in the game progression, following the Terrorbird. It is obtained by completing a specific portion of Dragonwilds:Icthlarin's Little Helper, the primary quest line for the Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands region.

The Magic Carpet is faster while used in the desert. When active, it allows the player to safely hover over quicksand, increases jump height from cliffs, and massively reduces fall damage. However, it is slower than the Terrorbird when used outside of the desert, making the Terrorbird the preferred option for navigation in other regions.

Most (if not all?) of the Dragonwilds:Dowdun Reach region prevents players from using any mounts.
