Mount
The Magic Carpet is the second mount unlocked during the game's progression, following the Terrorbird. It is obtained by completing a specific portion of Dragonwilds:Icthlarin's Little Helper, the primary quest line for the Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands region.
Attributes
The Magic Carpet offers superior speed while travelling within the desert. When active, it provides several utility benefits, including the ability to hover over quicksand and water, increased jump height from cliffs, and a massive reduction in fall damage. Outside of the desert, the carpet's only notable disadvantage is its reduced movement speed compared to the Terrorbird.
Any damage taken by the player will immediately unsummon the mount.
Note: Most (if not all?) areas within the Dragonwilds:Dowdun Reach region prevent the use of any mounts.
Usage
- Summoning: The mount can be summoned by pressing [ALT].
- Configuration: Players can customise and configure their mount settings by navigating to the Spells tab, accessed via [Q] and selecting [P].
Customisation
The Magic Carpet features many colour variants that can be unlocked through gameplay. See this for a complete list.
