Template:Multi Infobox Ascension Cores are items used and crafted in the Dragonwilds:Mystic Forge to ascend masterwork weapons from their base power level to the next tier. They are made by combining Ascension Shards or collecting them as a reward for completing instances of Nightmare Crucibles in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands. For most cores, players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Red Dragons, Green Dragons and Blue Dragons).
The only core that cannot be crafted, thus far, is the Power Level 7 ascension core which can only be acquired through completing the Nightmare Crucibles.
