They are made by combining Dragonwilds:ascension shards or collecting them as a reward for completing instances of Dragonwilds:Nightmare Crucibles in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands. For most cores, players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Dragonwilds:red dragons, Dragonwilds:green dragons and Dragonwilds:blue dragons).
