Asteroid formation around Yela

An asteroid formation is an astronomical object which is comprised of asteroids, planetoids, and other small rocky bodies that are not StarCitizen:planets nor StarCitizen:moons. It is frequently arrayed in a belt around the center star(s) due to gravitational formations, being called an asteroid belt.

Notable examples

StarCitizen:Aaron Halo: A dense torus-shaped asteroid belt that prevents standard quantum travel between StarCitizen:Hurston and StarCitizen:ArcCorp
StarCitizen:The Coil: An asteroid cluster that is more of an "electric phenomenon" thought to be the remains of the first planet in the system
