A world with all 11 chests on the surface

Debug chests are chests generating with all items in the game. They existed only in development version Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.6 Test Build 3.

Generation

The player spawns looking north, and 11 chests try to generate as a line in the surface, 3 blocks away from the player's spawn point facing them (south), with the lowest level they are placed on being right above sea level floating above the water even if no solid blocks are under them, with an empty space of one block between chests, plants and snow layers can generate between them. They won't always have the same y-axis placement and will follow elevation of the terrain instead of being forced to follow a straight level line,

However some error causes them to often generate in y=0 replacing Minecraft:bedrock, resulting in missing chests on the surface more often than not. Chests can generate with snow layers on top, and can be destroyed by other features generating on the same spot after the chests are placed, spilling the contents on the ground. The chests themselves don't always face the same direction, and will be facing away from any blocks that are next to them. If it tries to generate the chests under a tree but only a one block space exists it will spawn them on top of the tree leaves.

There is a bug where if one generates multiple worlds to try to get a full set of chests, even when deleting those old worlds, sometimes the seed will repeat and a second set of chests will generate with the old set present. The second set can spawn on the same spot making stacks of chests.

Chest contents

Debug chests contain every block and item in the game, and are ordered sequentially by block and item IDs. Some blocks that cannot be obtained, block states and placed versions of items are also present, and the block set is listed twice being spread across the remaining chests, while items are only listed once.

Chests are numbered from left to right. A screenshot is also shown due to the use of old textures and the glitched appearance of some items in game.
