Set in Gielinor during the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age, it will begin in Dragonwilds:Ashenfall, years after the events of RuneScape: Dragonwilds, with plans to expand into other regions. It is being developed as an independent game alongside Template:RSL, Template:OSL and RuneScape: Dragonwilds, with community involvement, integrity and permanent progression as core principles.<ref>https://play.runescape.com/4</ref> The project is in early development and remains several years from release.

Like Dragonwilds, it will be built in Unreal Engine.
