"The art of collecting fish.
Fishing Overview
Fishing is a skill that increases as you collect fish from lakes and rivers outdoors.
Except for ice fishing, there is no fishing pole item required, nor animation. Simply swim up to a fish and pick them up! Press your up and down keys to dive.
The fish and other aquatic creatures collected with this skill are used in cooking, alchemy and other trade skills.

Training Fishing
- Ukorga teaches the recipes for ice fishing.
- Rugen unlocks levels 51-60 and 61-70.
- Levels 71-80 and 81-90 are unlocked by Dunahain Broadarm deep beneath Povus.

Each time you catch a fish and clear the node it can respawn as another type of fish/crab. So it is best to fish everything.

Ice Fishing
Ice fishing recipes can be trained from Ukorga in Kur Northwest outpost with high enough Favor. Higher level bait traps yield more fish and higher level fish like shark and eel. Also depends on the location of the fishing hole:
- Green: Perch and Grapefish
- Yellow: Eel, Perch, and Shark; probably more dangerous than red on current (sept 2020) version of Kur
- Red: Eel (more than at yellow), Perch (fewer than at yellow), and Shark (fewer than at yellow)
