1.16.221 is a hotfix to Template:BE released on April 22, 2021, which fixes bugs.<ref>Template:Cite</ref>

It is the last Bedrock version to be released for Fire TV devices, and also the last regular release to support Android 4.2, 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and 4.4 (KitKat).

Fixes

Paintings are once again visible when placed (Template:Bug).
Fixed some instances of the game not launching past the loading screen after updating on PS4 (Template:Bug, Template:Bug).
Fixed a softlock that occurred when trying to set friend permissions on a Realm on initial invite.
Fixed a crash that could occur during gameplay.
Fixed a crash that could occur when loading behavior packs containing GameTests.

Trivia

1.16.221 has the highest minor version number (the third digit) across all versions of Minecraft.
