We had thought it nonsense that the mages here would delve into the darker magics. They were charlatans. Harmless magicians. They were meant to pull rabbits from hats and flowers from their sleeves. Instead, they have learned more sinister arts, older and more wicked than anything we could imagine.
Saradomin has cursed them, I am sure of it. A malady suitable for their blasphemy. They seem consumed with madness, with hatred; a bestial rage that burns away all sense or reason.
