Gravestones are markers that are usually generated on the location where a player last stood before they died.

Mechanics

When a player dies, all of their items in their Dragonwilds:Inventory, minus their worn items, which remain worn, are kept within the gravestone, being kept safe until the player collects the items. A player can have multiple gravestones, so long as they had items in their inventory at each death. A marker will be present on the map and compass, indicating where the gravestone is located.

If a player were to die in a Vault or in Dragonwilds:Velgar's Rise, their gravestone will appear at the entrance, and not within the instance.

Players who died in a Dragonwilds:Hard mode world will need to retrieve their items before dying again; otherwise, the previous gravestone will disappear.

There is currently a bug where the gravestone will not appear where it should. Usually leaving the world, ensuring other players are gone id co-op, and re-entering fixes the issue.
