Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Dragons are never fond of surrendering their natural armour, a feature they've used to great advantage.

In the earliest days of the Dragonkin experiments, the scales of a dragon were something to be proud of. They would turn away blade and arrow with equal skill, and even magic struggled to pierce their natural defences.

Still, this wasn't good enough for their makers. Lacrussa herself saw the hide of dragons as a promising start, but little more, and she would strive to forge newer and more resilient scales on her creations. The green dragons were, in her opinion, some of the weakest of the dragons, and she only kept them around because her sibling enjoyed the glittering green reflections of the sunlight on their scales.
