Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

Sir Percival Lateef was a proud man, assured of his own prowess, character and moral standing. On the mainland, he would train the other knights in swordsmanship, as well as host several long and laborious lectures on his supposed life as an explorer. He had travelled across the lands, to the frozen polar regions, and the jungles of Karamja, but no one ever seemed particularly interested in his stories.

Tired of being ignored and teased for his exploits, he took a boat and sailed it north of the mainland into regions unknown. His boat was destroyed. His crew left for dead, and he found himself on a unknown beach of strange, unnatural hues. The first human on Ashenfall for centuries, he was finally the explorer he dreamed himself to be.
