A CIG employee gift box

CIG employee gifts are Cloud Imperium Games items exclusively given by CIG to [[StarCitizen::Category:Developers|Cloud Imperium Games employees]]. They are not to be confused with Star Citizen merchandise which is for sale for players via the merchandise store subsection of the pledge store.

Some CIG collectables can sometimes be put on sale by employees on third party sites such as Ebay.

Trivia

• While they are normally reserved to employees, the gifts can sometimes also be given to people outside of CIG. In 2025, Hasgaha received one as one of his StarCitizen:Star Citizen screenshots was used for the cover of a gift box.<ref>"I got a very special #StarCitizen package from CIG a couple days ago.
