History

Enforcer Caven "Rook" Garavis had enough and aimed to take over the fuel operations, to expand operations to refueling and racketeering. The ruling council, the StarCitizen:Headhunters, deemed that it was too risky. Their name is a reflection on both the StarCitizen:Rest & Relax franchise and their willingness to take any action needed to thrive.<ref name="jp1106" />

While they defend their territory, they avoid getting drawn unnecessarily into conflict.<ref name=":0" />

After Garavis' death due to a terminal illness in 2949, he was succeeded by his twin sons, Kaspar and StarCitizen:Carlson Garavis, who are the current "kings" of the organization.<ref name="jp1106" />

Ranks

The Gangs structure are inspired by chess figures:

Pawns, low ranking members
Knights, enforcers
Bishops procure fuel, supplies, and other necessities to keep business operations running
Rooks oversees all operations at a station
the gang’s leaders, both took the title King upon their ascension to the position<ref name="jp1106" />

Gameplay

Players will earn StarCitizen:tattoo designs and apply them to themselves.<ref name=":CA" />

Trivia

Rough and Ready, besides being an English idiom, is the name of several locations in the United States, including California, Georgia, New York and Pennsylvania.
