There were once warriors in Fellhollow that wielded great weapons with tremendous force. They were boastful, proud and dangerous people – yet they were beloved.

A tradition among these great hulking figures, was to seek out a far smaller person and act as their shield. They became the guardian angels of the bullied and the protectors of the abused. Wielding their great blades to fight against cruelty or unkindness, making the world happier by force.

Now that instinct is gone.

These skeletal creatures remember only that a sword must be swung, and that a blade needs to cut into flesh. They remember only that bone must be cleaved and that the living must be turned into the dead, swelling their armies with each swing of the blade.
