Shrimp Catcher is a secondary tutorial quest meant to teach you the basics of the Dragonwilds:Fishing skill.
Overview
Walkthrough
To start this quest, create a Dragonwilds:Coarse Net at the Crafting Table. This will trigger the quest for you to speak to the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead Valley. Speak to him and choose option 2. Head to any nearby Dragonwilds:Net Fishing Spot and stand within it while wielding your net to start trawling to capture Dragonwilds:Raw Shrimp and you'll unlock Dragonwilds:Shrimp Bait. Once you have your fishing rod and bait, head to a nearby Dragonwilds:Rod Fishing Spot and fish there.
Unlike with net fishing, you will need to equip both your fishing rod and bait to start rod fishing. Note: Fishing will consume your stamina rapidly. If you do not reel in your fish quickly before depleting your stamina, your fish will escape.
Once you have caught your sardine, head back to the Wise Old Man.
Back to the grind!
Bringing the sardine you've caught back to him, the Wise Old Man will remark how you've caught a wonderful delicious sardine and how it brings back old memories. Before cooking the sardine like how his grampa used to, he rewards you for a job well done.
Congratulations! Quest complete!
