Most magic focused on directly manipulating a substance, magic to enhance mining, for example, always focused on the rocks. Yet, the eldest of minors would know secret techniques and talents, that made their work in the mines seem like its own sort of magic.

These rings were modelled after one of them, and it is rumoured that the first of the enchantments included a piece of an old miner’s soul. Now when you wear one of these rings, you feel a sense of the right place to strike and the right way to carry ore, protecting your tools and reducing exhaustion.
