While equipped, the ring grants players automatic teleportation to their bed upon reaching low health. Once that happens, the ring vanishes. The recipe is unlocked through Death's Exchange for 800 Soul Fragments.

Journal

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
Harold has a job for you and won’t let something as trivial as your expired mortality get in the way. This piece of enchanted jewellery is primed to go off when you’re about to land on Death’s list, whisking you away to safety before the scythe needs to be swung.

There are many sorcerers that have studied these rings for years, going slowly mad as they try to uncover the secrets of immortality. If they could just learn the methods by which this ring operates, they could extend their lives indefinitely.

Only one wizard ever actually learned this secret, but he forgot the method by which this ring works, for it teleports you at the moment of your death. As the ring does not stop the aging process, this unfortunate mage now spends his eternity in perpetual teleportation – hurled through the abyss, never to take form again.

Trivia

  • According to Mod Mossdog, the plan for this ring was to teleport the player to their current bed upon death, but the ring was not meant to vanish. It was meant to be in a broken state and recharged with Vault Cores instead. Script error: No such module "References".
