This guide is a simplified overview of all changes in the Update Aquatic (Template:BE 1.4.x and 1.5.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Better Together Update (Bedrock Edition 1.2.x releases).
Since Update Aquatic was released in 2 separate updates with various changes in between, the guide is split in 2 phases, one for each major update release.
