v0.16.0 alpha build 2<ref>Template:Citation</ref><ref>https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE/fixforversion/15667</ref> (labelled v0.15.90 alpha build 1 in-game and 0.15.90.1<ref>Template:Citation</ref> internally) is the second build version released for v0.16.0, also known as the Boss Update. It removes most of the Education Edition features that were accidentally added in the previous build.

- Minecraft:Border block, Minecraft:chalkboard, Minecraft:camera and Minecraft:portfolio completely removed
- Removed the Minecraft:NPC spawn egg from the Creative Minecraft:inventory.
