Hour of Code is a part of Education Edition which is released yearly. The newest one is Escape Estate.
The first Hour of Code was for 2019. This Hour of Code was about forest fires. "Explore basic coding concepts and learn about artificial intelligence (AI) in this free Hour of Code lesson in Minecraft: Education Edition! Help the Agent prevent forest fires with Minecraft and MakeCode..." This Hour was also called "AI for Good."
Hour of Code 2020 was about social-emotional skills. "Use basic coding concepts to bring two villages together in this free Hour of Code lesson in Minecraft: Education Edition. Players will experience empathy and compassion for their neighbors, learn about cooperation and inclusion, and practice social-emotional skills." This Hour of Code was also called "A Tale of Two Villagers."
