Agility is a support skill that allows players to reduce Dragonwilds:stamina drain, improve mobility, and navigate Dragonwilds:Ashenfall more efficiently through passive world benefits, active traversal mechanics, and skill Dragonwilds:spells. At certain levels of this skill, players will be able to increase their carry weight, access shortcuts, and reduce stamina drain on jumping and sprinting.

Mechanics

The skill introduces courses, shortcuts, passives, spells and environmental effects.

Courses

Agility Courses are Dragonwilds:activities in Dragonwilds:Ashenfall where players can train their Agility and receive higher Dragonwilds:experience with every level they reach. Players can expect rewards based on each course and their completion time. Each course has a level requirement; the lowest level required for agility is Dragonwilds:Chasm Dash. Template:Map

Shortcuts

Dragonwilds:Kebbit Burrows – Tunnels scattered across the map that players can excavate to open up shortcuts across side routes. Players will be able to dig up Kebbit Burrows on the map to open up side paths. Failing to navigate these safely at low Agility levels will inflict damage.

Passive XP & stamina

  • Foot Travel: Players will gain 50/200/400 Agility XP at level 1/48/85, passively simply by running on foot across the world. Passive XP generation is strictly disabled while riding mounts.
  • Stamina Reduction: Higher Agility levels will passively reduce the stamina cost of sprinting.

Environments

  • Fall Break: Higher levels will automatically trigger a roll when landing from high drops to reduce fall damage. Fatal drop heights will still cause death.
  • Vault Traps: Dodging Dragonwilds:Dragonkin Vault's traps gives you XP
  • Dodging: Dodging enemies attacks gives you XP

Spells

  • Dragonwilds:Windstep: Reclassified from Runecrafting to Agility.
    • At level 40, landing from Windstep creates an air blast that knocks down nearby enemies.
  • Dragonwilds:Recall: Leaves a runic marker on the ground; recasting teleports the player back to its location.
    • At level 70, if a player suffers a fatal fall while tethered, they are automatically teleported back safely and the tether is consumed.
  • Phase Dash: Allows the use of of a second dash while airborne.

Trivia

  • Unlike other skills in the game, Agility is the first skill that does not fit into combat, gathering, or Artisan type skills exclusively.
  • In Template:RSL and Template:OSL, Agility reduces the drain on run energy and gives the player access to higher-tiered shortcuts.
  • While originally meant to be coupled with the release of Scorned Wilderness, Jagex moved it up to July 2026 due to needing to rework movement mechanics.Template:CiteGeneral
  • This is the only skill in the game currently without an accompanying tutorial quest.
