Dragonwilds:Steam Achievements

Steam achievements (also called "tasks") are specific standalone challenges/milestones within RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Players can complete specific achievements through in-game actions, such as completing certain quests or defeating special monsters (like bosses). The global completion rate is fetched and published at 12-hour intervals starting at 00:00 UTC.

There are currently 50 achievements on the achievement log, but only 48 are currently achieveable.

Trivia

• There was at some point meant to be 53 achievements for the game, but after a couple of small shadow updates before the release of Umbral Sands, the number was reduced to 45.
  • It was first reduced to 50 achievements then again from 50 to 45.
• It was revealed in the update notes for Umbral Sands that achievements do not apply retroactively to all characters made before the update.
  • Since the release of achievements, it is possible to gain achievements on both old and new character profiles, but only old characters will need to go back through to complete some achievements.
• Some achievements get added before major updates as shadow updates, thus making people unable to keep a full 100% completion of all game achievements.
