Minecraft:Icicle

An icicle is a block that generates on the ceiling of Minecraft:ice caves. They naturally form Minecraft:stalactites, which melt and subsequently fall if there is enough Minecraft:light nearby. They only generate on ceilings, but can also be placed on floors.

Icicles generate naturally hanging from the ceilings of Minecraft:ice caves.

Usage

Icicles come in two different forms, stalactites and stalagmites.

Stalactites

Stalactites are created when icicles are placed beneath a block. When exposed to enough light, they will begin to melt and subsequently fall, injuring mobs it falls on.

Stalagmites

Stalagmites are created when icicles are placed on the ground.
