I like my job. It's important and it keeps me busy. Would that all the chancellors knew how to keep busy. Perhaps there wouldn't be some much drama and unrest with... certain citizens.

ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest

ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest is a Chancellor of the city of ProjectGorgon:Statehelm. They operate the Statehelm Mint and Bank.

Location

ProjectGorgon:Statehelm
ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest is always found behind the desk at the Stathelm Mint, just south of the central fountain.

Services

"

No animals! No animals allowed in the bank, I'm afraid. The only exception is for certified animal assistants.

ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest

Animals will need to register as an assistant with Chancellor Algest in order to access almost all services within Statehelm. This includes all NPC shops and all training. Both the animal player and the humanoid player claiming them as an assistant will need to be present at the same time. The humanoid must pay a registration fee of 5000 councils, and both they and their assistant will be fined if the assistant commits any crimes within the city. Spider and fox players are not able to use their humanoid illusions to be their own owner.

Spiders, bats, and werewolves are too scary and will need to acquire a magic item elsewhere in ProjectGorgon:Statehelm in order to speak to Chancellor Algest.

ProjectGorgon:Storage

ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest offers storage to everyone. He offers 8 slots of storage which can hold any type of item.

Yes. What is it?

About Council Certificates...

The creation and redemption of ProjectGorgon:Council Certificates is one of the services we provide to Statehelm businesses. Unfortunately, you're not a business.
Well, how would I become a business?
Become a business?! You're a person, not a business. You mean to ask how you can create a business, with you as the sole proprietor.
Yes. That.
I can certainly help you with that. There are quite a few forms to fill out, but more relevantly, there is the annual fee of 25,000 Councils. Payable up front.
That's a lot! But here you are. (Pay 25,000 Councils)
That's a lot! Let me ask about something else.

About a Business Permit...

Deposit/Withdraw...

You can safely deposit Councils here. The funds will be available to both you and your associates during business hours. (Deposits to the Statehelm Bank are accessible from all characters on your account).

War Bonds...

I can redeem mature war bonds to you. I can also create War Bonds for you, but only if you were a valid Statehelm business.
Redeem War Bond.

I'm here to register an Animal Assistant...

I'm sorry, only registered business owners can have animal assistants. You aren't a business.

About Demerits.

Let's see. You don't have any Demerits. You've been an ethical citizen; good work!
Demerits are given out for relatively minor crimes. You can pay off Demerits here at a rate of 10 Councils per Demerit. Having any Demerits permits you from using most shops and services in town.

ProjectGorgon:Chancellor Algest (Not a Business)

The Council stipulates very strict bookkeeping procedures, but then doesn't actually refer to all the paperwork very often. But I know there will come a day when all these perfectly-maintained ledgers will be the key to solving a crime or mystery of some sort. And I already know that I won't get any credit for my years of hard work, but nonetheless I look forward to it.

There's so many talking animals these days. They defecate everywhere and most can barely hold a conversation. Might as well be goblins, right? Hah!
