Maybe my friends made it out already, but they also lost their memories. They might not remember that we're supposed to meet here. If they don't show up in a few years I might have to go looking for them.

Why is that?
Because I'm glad you're not being tortured, of course! We bound you to this lifestone - well, a mortal helped us do it, to be honest. Otherwise you might be in the Winter Queen's clutches right now.
Winter Queen?
You *have* lost your memory! The Season has changed and Winter is in charge. But the ProjectGorgon:Winter Queen has a wasp in her tassels - she thinks that if she tortures fairies long enough they'll become Winter fairies. As if we could change our Season out of season!
[She clears her throat and looks away for a moment.]
That's horrible!
It's going to be a long 20,000 years. I just hope my friends remember to meet up here.

We can still die, we just come back. But the ProjectGorgon:Winter Queen has her people watching all the main lifestones. If you come back to one of those, they scoop you right up.

Why don't you get settled in? Flit around and meet everyone - maybe someone will spark your memory! Check with ProjectGorgon:Pegast and ProjectGorgon:Felmer in particular. ProjectGorgon:Midge might be able to help with your memory. And you'd better talk to ProjectGorgon:Crelpin about your pets. Who knows the last time they had a good flight!
