I've been thinking about morality, and what it means to have a moral compass. And in the end I just don't think it's right to kill living creatures and eat their flesh. Maybe, maybe if it was a sentient animal who longed for death. I could see that. And I'd be happy to help! But you can't ask non-sentient animals if they mind sacrificing their life for a plump turkey dish or a side of good meaty gravy.
