ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event

Seasonal Events are events that occur in game over a short period of time. The shortest events are a single real-life day, others may last for a weekend or a month. Many ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Events can be considered semi-scheduled. These events are pre-planned by ProjectGorgon:Developers to occur at certain times of year or to activate every few months. Progress on ProjectGorgon:Game updates can delay or speed up the schedule though. Information on player-organized events can be found on the ProjectGorgon:Community Events page.

Weekend Events

Civil Service - Periodically, adventurers of Alharth are called to help the ProjectGorgon:Civil Service. During this event often held in late spring and early fall, volunteers are tasked with delving into dungeons to defeat a selection of powerful foes in exchange for rewards. This event is on a four-month rotation.

Crafting Caravan - The ProjectGorgon:Crafting Caravan is a ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event that introduces adventurers to a group of traveling artisans and merchants. Participants complete crafting quests for the artisans in exchange for tokens which can be exchanged for specialty goods. This event is on a four-month rotation.

Garden Invasion - ProjectGorgon:Event: Garden Invasion is a ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event that usually occurs in early Spring, and sometimes a second time in mid-Fall. Alongside ProjectGorgon:Event: Bun-Fu Training, the Garden Invasion is a source for

Golf - Pennoc's Pennant - ProjectGorgon:Pennoc's Pennant is a dwarven ProjectGorgon:Golf Tournament held by ProjectGorgon:Pennoc. This event is usually held in April or May.

Invasion of the World Bosses - ProjectGorgon:Invasion of the World Bosses occurs when an unknown probably-magical phenomena causes tremendously powerful copies of named creatures to appear across Alharth. Named World Bosses, these mighty foes always appear like clockwork once defeated, suggesting a higher purpose to their summoning. This event is on a four-month rotation.

Spider Hunt - ProjectGorgon:Spider Hunt is a ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event where adventurers are tasked with finding wayward Spiders of Akhisa journeying across Alharth.

Suspicious Lemons - Occasionally, ProjectGorgon:Suspicious Lemons appear across Alharth. During this ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event, interacting with one of these lemons grants a buff, experience, or an item. Usually, finding all the hidden lemons grants a special reward. This event can happen any time during a year at the whims of the ProjectGorgon:Developers.

Halloween

Zhia Lian, the goddess of whimsy, gives you some quests. Each quest you complete leads to more quest branches. At the end of the event, there is a party in the ProjectGorgon:Red Wing Casino. For more details, see the ProjectGorgon:Halloween page.

Winter Holiday Season

Ri-Shin

NPCs you have sufficiently high ProjectGorgon:Favor with will give you a gift when you interact with them during this event.

During this ProjectGorgon:Winter Holiday, in each settlement there is a Ri-Shin tree. An NPC wearing a Ri-Shin hat gives you a quest to gather materials to decorate it with. Once you decorate a tree, you can collect one gift per real world day from it.

ProjectGorgon:Event: Shrine of Ri-Shin is available during this event. Gain access to the Shrine of ProjectGorgon:Ri-Shin by completing tree-decorating quests or being a Druid. The Shrine will ask players to contribute a sum total of various plants and materials. The more you give to the tree, the more storage slots available for all players until next Ri-Shin festival.
