Mastery of the techniques of the spirit fox: an awakened fox with supernatural powers.
Training Spirit Fox
- Completely Normal Fox in the Wolf Cave turns the player into a Spirit Fox and teaches Spirit Fox combat skill after gifting them a Spirit Stone.
- Another way to become a Spirit Fox and learn the ability is to trade a Spirit Stone to another player who is currently a Spirit Fox. Once you do that, they revert to their previous form and you become a Spirit Fox.
- Completely Normal Fox in the Wolf Cave will teach the Trick Fox ability line after reaching Spirit Fox Level 12. (You have to have been a Spirit Fox for at least 24 hours.)
- Mittens in Kur Mountains unlocks the Level 51 - 60 and Level 61-70 skill caps.
- Noita the Green in the Fae Realm unlocks the Level 71-80 skill cap.
- Levels 81-90 are unlocked by Big Footed Jim deep beneath Povus.
- Duke of Flapbule in Statehelm unlocks the 91-100 skill cap and Prodigy Potential.
To Stop Being a Spirit Fox
There are only two ways to cease being a Spirit Fox. One is to have another player trade you a Spirit Stone, transforming them into a Spirit Fox and reverting you to your previous form. The other way is by drinking a Minor Panacea.

- Unarmed - Spirit Fox and Unarmed work best as a melee-based skill set.
- Warden - Spirit Fox and Warden work very well together as combined skills, with a significant amount of possible electricity and/or fire synergy.
- Necromancy - Necromancy is possible if a Necromancy symbol is equipped (armor, clothing or jewelry only, Necro-enabled weapons do not work for this).
- Priest - Priest is possible if an Arisetsu symbol is equipped (armor, clothing, or jewelry only, Priest-enabled weapons do not work for this).

- If a Spirit Fox is gifted an Anchor Rune through a trade, they become unable to use any Spirit Fox abilities for 15 minutes.
- If a Spirit Fox is mailed an Anchor Rune through Pigeon Mail, they will not suffer the debuff.
- If a Spirit Fox is gifted a Spirit Stone through a trade, the gifter transforms into a Fox, and the receiver reverts to their previous form. The receiver must be in fox form while trading.
- If a Spirit Fox purchases a Spirt Stone from a vendor, no transformation occurs.
- If a Spirit Fox is mailed a Spirit Stone through Pigeon Mail, no transformation occurs.
Riding
As a Beast Form, Spirit Fox are not able to use the traditional Horse mounts offered through Riding. Instead, Mittens in Kur Mountains teaches mount-form to Spirit Fox players who are at least level 25 and have [Friends] favor.

Crafters producing equipment for use by Spirit Fox should obtain the Sigil Scripting recipe Spirit Fox Inscription, which allows for the creation of

This attuned gemstone can be used in any recipe which calls for the use of [[ProjectGorgon::Category:Items/Crystal|Crystals]] to create equipment with Spirit Fox Treasure Effects.
