Bone blocks can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.
Natural generation
Bone blocks are generated naturally as part of Minecraft:fossil structures found in desert and swamp biomes. They also generate as part of nether fossils in soul sand valley biomes and also in trial chambers indicating trial spawners if it is a skeleton and a mixture with Minecraft:podzol indicating if it is a bogged.

Bone blocks can be placed under note blocks to produce xylophone sounds.
Sulfur cube
Template:In development Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb bone blocks, either through picking them up or being interacted with them. This provides the regular/football effect to the mob when hitting it.
