Sandstone stairs can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Natural generation

Sandstone stairs generate as part of desert pyramids, desert villages, and warm ocean ruins.

Usage

Note blocks

Sandstone stairs can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.
