Fuel

Overworld wooden slabs can be used as fuel in Minecraft:furnaces, smelting 0.75 items per slab Template:In, and 1.5 items per slab Template:In.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>

Note blocks

Wooden slabs can be placed under note blocks to produce "bass" sounds.

Sounds

Template:IN, when a wooden slab is combined into a double slab, the block's use/step sound is played.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
