Template:Removed featureTemplate:UnobtainableThe giant tree taiga hills or mega taiga hills was a hills variant of the Minecraft:old growth pine taiga that no longer generates since Minecraft:Caves & Cliffs: Part II, and has been removed in Java Edition.Template:Infobox biome
Description
Like all other hills biomes, giant tree taiga hills featured elevated, hillier terrain compared to the tegular Template:Abbr, making the landscape less suitable for shelter. In any other aspect, the giant tree taiga hills generated the same way as the regular giant tree taiga. Podzol, coarse dirt, and rocks all generated on the hills. Wolves, foxes and rabbitsTemplate:Only spawned here.
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, giant tree taiga hills use a coolish humid volumetric fog setting, which slightly fades the distance in an orange tint. Giant tree taiga hills have coolish color grading tints the environment with a colder blue color, and cold sunlight which appears slightly brighter at dusk and dawn.
