Minecraft:Zombie Horse Cape

The Zombie Horse Cape is a Minecraft:cape that was given out to promote Minecraft:Mounts of Mayhem.

Appearance

The cape's design is based on the pelt of a Minecraft:zombie horse. In particular, it resembles the part on the side with the partially exposed bones.

The Zombie Horse Cape could be obtained as a reward for the "Spear Mayhem" challenge, which ran from December 12, 2025 at 16:00 UTC to December 15, 2025 at 18:00 UTC. The challenge involved killing 5 Minecraft:mobs using a Minecraft:spear in Minecraft:Survival mode Template:In during the time period.<ref name="challenge-article">Template:Mcnet</ref> The five mobs could be killed separately, and any neutral or hostile mob would count. In addition, going from Creative to Survival mode was allowed.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

Distribution of the cape began on December 18, 2025, with all eligible players receiving the cape within approximately 30 days after the promotion end date (i.e. before January 14, 2026).<ref>Template:Cite</ref>
