It's designed for emergencies and is not intended to be used as a primary ship.<ref>Reverse the Verse: September 25th, 2015, Star Citizen, Youtube, Sep 26, 2015</ref><ref name=":1" /> It allows the player to abandon his ship and cargo anf save himself and get to safety when he gets in trouble, which is to become important with StarCitizen:death mechanics and their penalties down the line.<ref name=":1" />
When docking back, it takes back control of the whole ship.<ref name=":0" />

Hardpoints
