Template:InfoboxNeue Drake DefenseCon is an event organized by StarCitizen:Drake Interplanetary to promote themselves <ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref> as a tagalong of the StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week.
The event was created in StarCitizen:2950 by Drake after repeatedly not being invited to Invictus Week. It is meant as a tool to showcase the contribution and solutions in defense of Drake Interplanetary to [[StarCitizen::Category:Security organizations|militias and security organizations]]. In StarCitizen:2955 it became part of Invictus when Drake was asked to participate for the first time. However, in StarCitizen:2956 and for reasons still not known the StarCitizen:UEE only held the Invictus event in StarCitizen:Sol system, forcing Drake's CEO StarCitizen:Anden Arden to reinstate Drake DefenseCon along other manufacturers.

- Drake DefenseCon, usually held after the final day of Invictus, has been cancelled for 2955 as Drake Interplanetary has been -for the first time ever- invited into StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week 2955.
- On April 2956 SSN revealed that there had been a huge ruckus between StarCitizen:Anden Arden –Drake's CEO– and the StarCitizen:UEE. Apparently the UEE had cancelled all the StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week events outside StarCitizen:Sol system. Arden boasted that Drake would step in and hold again DefenseCon from May 14 to May 27, 2956. This time StarCitizen:2956 Drake DefenseCon would include several other manufactures besides Drake.
