Minecraft:Lava

• Lava exposed to air becomes stone, similar to how water exposed to air would evaporate.<ref name="Forum7">Template:Link</ref>
• Now emits particles Template:Code.

Minecraft:Torch

• Now emits particles Template:Code.

Minecraft:TNT

• No longer damages entities or destroys dropped items.<ref group="note" name="gameplay" />
• Fuse is now 4 seconds (raised from 2).<ref group="note" name="gameplay" />
• Now flashes when lit.

World generation

Minecraft:Starting house

• Added one more chest, containing a stack of each color of cloth.<ref group="note" name="gameplay">This has been verified by gameplay from this version's jar dated January 25, 2010 at 21:01 UTC.</ref>
  • Minecraft:Cloth is no longer found in the main blocks chest.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Damage

• Drowning damage has now been reduced from Template:Hp per half-second to Template:Hp per second.
• Drowning now creates particles around drowning entities.

Fixes

• Fixed the bug causing item switching to make a Minecraft:block unbreakable and cycle through all block textures on it.
