Multiplayer Test refers to 38 versions of Minecraft:Java Edition Classic released between May 31 and July 11, 2009. As the name suggests, these versions were released mainly to implement and develop Minecraft:multiplayer.

- Minecraft:Sponges
- They were a temporary fix to stop water from flooding until finite water was implemented
- They soaked up water in a 5×5×5 volume around it.
- Minecraft:Wool (Labeled as "Cloth" in this version)
- Colors include aqua-green, black, blue, cyan, green, gray, indigo, lime, magenta, orange, pink, purple, red, violet, white, and yellow.
- Minecraft:Dandelion and Minecraft:rose.
- Red and brown Minecraft:mushrooms.
- Minecraft:Block of gold.
General
- Players' names show above their heads.
- List logged-in players by pressing Template:Key.
- Added custom skins.
- Players can chat to other players on the server.
- Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd (Renamed to Template:Cmd), Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd alias Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd, Template:Cmd, and Template:Cmd.
- Admin-only.
- Accessed by pressing Template:Key.
