The loading world screen is a screen displayed when generating or loading a Minecraft:world. It shows the percentage of the loading progress.

Java Edition

The loading screen Template:In shows a chunk colormap, which is a square that visualizes the rendering of the initial chunks, the radius of which is equal to the value of Template:Cd + 13. It populates with colored pixels that change color and expand as chunks load. Each pixel represents a chunk, and the color represents the chunk status. Like on other menu screens in Java Edition, a blurred and darkened view of the Minecraft:panorama is shown in the background.

Bedrock Edition

The loading screen Template:In shows the menu screen Minecraft:panorama in the background with an Minecraft:experience progress bar, and Minecraft:loading tips. Unlike in Java Edition, menu Minecraft:music continues playing until the player spawns, where it will fade out.

Depending on the game's world options, specific loading tips will appear, for example when the world has Minecraft:add-ons or Minecraft:Creative mode. The loading sequence is always ended with "Survive", "Create", or "Let's Go!" depending on the game mode, and some other messages may appear depending on the situation.

When connecting to a world in Minecraft Minecraft:Realms, a unique background is shown. Furthermore, the current server region for the Realm and the ping are shown below the loading tips.

When playing on Minecraft:servers or Minecraft:multiplayer worlds, the loading screen shows when it is connecting to the server with a button to cancel the progress. This may happen during play in gatherings as the player travels between internal servers.

When connecting to a multiplayer game using mobile data, if enabled in the Minecraft:settings, an indicator is shown on the top-right.
