Minecraft:Minecraft: The Island

Minecraft: The Island is a novel by American author Minecraft:Max Brooks,<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> which was published by Template:W on July 18, 2017.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> Two audiobooks were also released on the same day, with narration provided by Minecraft:Jack Black and Minecraft:Samira Wiley, respectively. To promote the book, an official map was released for Java Edition Realms and Template:El made by Minecraft:Blockception.

The novel is followed by two sequels, one titled Minecraft: The Mountain, which was released on March 2, 2021, and the other titled Minecraft: The Village, which was released on October 17, 2023.

Trivia

• Minecraft: The Island was the first official Minecraft novel to be announced at a Minecraft:MINECON convention.
